Our Sermon Series this Lent is the "Animals of Easter." This Sunday, we are talking about Jesus the Lamb of God.

This message was written for the people of Llyswen UMC and Christ Community UMC, but everyone is welcome to listen. I hope it brings you hope! The text for this week is Psalm 23.

In this message, Rev. Rebecca emphasizes that God did NOT cause this current pandemic.

We worship a God of lve. God loved us so much that He sent Jesus as the paschal (sacrificial) lamb to die for our sins. This is not the end. This too, shall pass. Jesus does not stay dead-- he rose again! In the same way the Church, the body of Christ here on Earth, will also rise.

The book Rev. Rebecca references in this video is called God Behaving Badly: Is the God of the Old Testament Angry? By David T. Lamb. You can find it here on Amazon.
