About Us

At Christ Community UMC there is a place for you! We are a loving church family dedicated to sharing God's love with others. We are passionate about helping others, both locally and throughout the world. We are blessed to be a small and vital congregation where you can really get the opportunity to get to know all members of our church family.  Come experience the warmth of God's love here at CCUMC!

Worship With Us

Worship, Sundays at 11AM:  Our 11AM service is a  relaxed worship service that blends hymns and popular Christian music. Children are always welcome! A children's area is located in the back of the sanctuary with comfortable seating and quiet time toys. There is also a room to the right of the sanctuary where trained volunteers are happy to watch children.

Children's Church is held on the first and third Sunday of every month during our 11AM service. During the service, children will be invited to join two of our Sunday School teachers to hear a Bible story, make a craft, and to learn about God's love. This will give their parents the opportunity to relax and enjoy worship. Then, near the end of the service, Children are invited back to partake in Holy Communion and to join in the closing Song of Praise.

What We Believe

At CCUMC we believe in forming a close personal relationship with God and with one another. Our congregation is part United Methodist Church, which means that we are part of a global connection with congregations worshiping in Asia and Africa as well as in the United States. We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, sent to redeem the entire world. The writings contained in the Old & New Testaments are the inspired word of God, but we also believe in the importance of reason, tradition, and experience when interpreting God's word. We also place a special emphasis on service and actively working to help others. For more about our beliefs as United Methodists, visit UMC.org
