Worship With Us |
Worship, Sundays at 11AM: Our 11AM service is a relaxed worship service that blends hymns and popular Christian music. Children are always welcome! A children's area is located in the back of the sanctuary with comfortable seating and quiet time toys so that families can worship together. A changing station for those with infants is located in the restroom on the sanctuary level. Children's Sunday School is held every Sunday before church at 10AM. Adult Sunday School is held every Sunday before church at 10AM. Our building is accessible, including a restroom at the sanctuary level. Designated parking is just off of our 58th Street entry and an accessible entrance is available at the front of the building, beneath the cross and flame. Simply enter the front foyer, turn left for the elevator, and the press the button labeled "sanctuary level." We look forward to worshipping with you! A doorbell is available if you need assistance. |
What We Believe |
At CCUMC we believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, sent to redeem the entire world from sin. We are trinitarian, which means that we believe Jesus is One with God the Father and God the Holy Spirit. We believe that the Bible contains all truths necessary for salvation and that it is the inspired Word of God. We believe in the importance of tradition, reason, scripture, and experience as we live out our faith as Christians. We also place a special emphasis on service and actively working to help others. Our mission is to make disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the World. For more about our beliefs as United Methodists, visit UMC.org
