 Thank you so much to everyone who donated to our Thanksgiving Food Drive! We fed over a dozen local families this year with your help! The following are th emost up to date times for our Lenten and Easter happenings: February 22nd: Ash Wednesday at 6PM at Llyswen (308 Coleridge Ave. Altoona, PA 16602) and 7:30PM at Christ Community (5715 Roselawn Ave. Altoona PA, 16602) ***Witness at the Cross: Bible Study will now be on TUESDAY evenings during Lent at 6:30PM***
Wednesday, April 5th at Noon: Lenten Luncheon at CCUMC. Special guest speaker: Rev. Dr. Michelle Bodle Thursday, April 6th at 6PM: Holy Thursday Service (with Holy Communion) at Llyswen (308 Coleridge Ave. Altoona, PA 16602) Friday, April 7th at 6PM: Good Friday Service at Christ Community (5715 Roselawn Ave. Altoona PA 16602) Saturday, April 8th: Easter Egg Hunt (Time TBD) at CUMC Easter Sunday: April 9th at 11AM CCUMC and 9:30AM at Llyswen Christ Community Altoona is proud to remain United Methodist. Save the dates! Advent/ Christmas Bible Study: A Christmas Carol Book and Bible Study! Join us on Sunday evenings to watch Christmas movies! Sunday November 27th, December 4th, and December 11th at 6PM Then join us for the Bible Study! Advent/ Christmas Bible Study November 28th, December 5, 12, and 19th at 6PM Charge Conference December 4th at 1PM at Second Ave United Methodist Church The children will be singing two special Christmas songs during worship on Sunday, December 18! Christmas Eve Worship, Saturday December 24th at 7:30PM (Holy Communion) Christmas Day Worship: A Service of Lessons and Carols Sunday, December 25th at 11AM (Holy Communion)  THANK YOU to everyone who helped with this year's clothing giveaway!
